Welcome to your AP Psychology Unit 3 review! Today, we're diving into
the biological bases of behavior. First, neurons: the building blocks
of our nervous system. They transmit electrical and chemical signals. Neurotransmitters are key
chemicals affecting mood, sleep, and learning. Think acetylcholine and dopamine.
Our nervous system divides into the Central Nervous System, your brain and spinal cord,
and the Peripheral Nervous System. The frontal lobe handles planning, personality,
and decision-making. It's our brain's control center. The parietal lobe processes touch,
temperature, and pain, and also helps with spatial reasoning. The temporal lobe
