La Pascualita: The Living Mannequin

In Mexico, there’s a bridal shop where the mannequin is said to be… a real body.

In 1930, a wedding dress shop opened in Chihuahua. Inside stood a mannequin named La Pascualita.

At first, people admired her beauty. Then they noticed something wrong.

Her eyes look wet. Her skin has pores. Her hands show veins, wrinkles… and fingernails. Employees swear

her position changes overnight. Her gaze follows people across the room.

Some claim to smell formaldehyde after closing hours. Old rumors say the shop owner’s daughter

died before her wedding… and her body was preserved and dressed in white.

No tests were ever allowed. La Pascualita still stands there today. Dressed as a bride.
