Your therapist is not there to fix your life for you. Real psychological help is actually
about forcing you to take responsibility for your own mess. We learn in psychology that effective helping
isn't about the therapist being a savior or feeding their own ego to feel important.
If you go to therapy and just complain, stay silent, or even attack the professional,
that is technically called resistance. You are literally fighting the process because you are
terrified of change. The goal isn't to be dependent on a shrink forever, it is to understand
your problems so you can finally handle them yourself.
