The Industrial Revolution completely transformed how humans lived and worked in just a few decades.
Before machines, everything was made by hand in small workshops. Then suddenly,
massive factories appeared powered by steam engines, churning out products faster than anyone
imagined possible. But here's the dark side nobody talks about: workers, including children,
labored sixteen hours a day in dangerous conditions for barely enough money to survive.
They couldn't even vote to change their situation. This sparked the birth of labor movements,
unions, and strikes. Workers literally had to fight and organize just to
get basic rights we take for granted today like weekends, eight hour workdays, and safe working
