We all learn about the 7 layers of the OSI model, from the physical wires to the applications
we use. But the real secret is Layer 8: The People Layer. This is where the
real hacking happens. You can have the best firewalls and encryption, but it's all useless
if someone can be tricked into giving up a password. This is social engineering. Hackers exploit
trust to bypass all the technical stuff. They use insecure old protocols like
FTP, sniff your data, and even go dumpster diving for info. But their most powerful
