Your favorite books are actually secret historical documents disguised as art. Ahmet Haşim argues
in his classic work Bize Göre that literature is never just about aesthetics or pretty words.
It is literally the echo of society. He claims that every poem and story serves as a mirror reflecting
the collective soul and deep thoughts of a generation. It is not enough for art to just
exist; it has to carry the weight of the creator's inner world. While time changes
everything else, these written emotions remain permanent. Basically, reading is the only
way to truly understand the human experience.
