Love and Sacrifice in Marriage

Aaron never thought marriage would be this hard. He loved his wife, but he often spoke

harshly. He blamed her when things went wrong, and deep down, he didn't know how

to change. I wanted to be a better husband, but I didn't know how to fix myself.

One day, during a visit to a friend's home, Aaron overheard a Bible study.

Someone read a verse that made him stop in his tracks. "Husbands, love your wives

just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her." That verse hit me. Jesus gave Himself,

sacrificed Himself for the church.
