Materialism and the Engine of History

Everything that exists right now deserves to perish. That sounds harsh, but it is actually

the secret to understanding how the world works. Hegel taught us that nothing is permanent and everything

is constantly changing, but he was too stuck in abstract ideas. Then Feuerbach brought us back to earth,

reminding us that nature and humans are the only real things, but he got lost

in a weird religion of love. Marx finally flipped the script. He realized that

your thoughts don't create your reality, your reality creates your thoughts. It is not big ideas

that drive history, it is the grind of economics and class struggle that decides your future.
