El universo — the universe. It sounds almost exactly like “universe-oh.” Just add an “oh”

at the end, and your brain seals the deal. <break time="0.9s" /> Girar — to spin. Think of something

spinning and you say “gee… that’s spinning fast.” Gee → girar. The first sound

locks it in. <break time="0.9s" /> Marea baja — low tide. Baja sounds like “bye-ya.”

Low tide = the water says “bye-ya” and goes down. The sound cue makes it automatic. <break time="0.9s" />

Marea alta — high tide. Alta sounds like “all-ta.” High tide = ALL

the water comes up. All-ta → alta. <break time="0.9s" /> Luna llena — full moon.

Llena sounds like “yay-nah.” Full moon = the moon is “yay-nah, I’m full now.”
