They found microplastics in human reproductive fluids. Did you know scientists just found microplastics,
tiny plastic fragments, in human semen and ovarian fluid for the first time? A Spanish research
team tested 25 women and 18 men and found plastics in 69% of egg fluid samples and 55% of semen
samples. These plastics enter our bodies through food, water,
air, even skin and can travel through the bloodstream straight to the reproductive
system. They found stuff like nylon, polyurethane, polyethylene,
and even Teflon, the same materials used in packaging, clothes, and non-stick pans.
The study's still preliminary, not peer-reviewed yet, so we don't know
