Scientists ran a huge experiment comparing mindfulness therapy against standard psychological
education and regular doctor visits. For most people, the results were totally average.
But the data showed something wild for trauma survivors. For them, the mindfulness
practice cut the risk of relapse by nearly half compared to normal treatment. It proves that for
deep wounds, just understanding your brain isn't enough. You actually have
to train it to sit with the pain to finally let it go.
