Motion in the Attic

You live alone. At least… that’s what you think. Every night at exactly 2:17 a.m.,

you hear footsteps above your ceiling. You brush it off — old building, pipes,

neighbors. But tonight, you hear something new. Breathing.

Slow. Right above your bed. You freeze, staring at the ceiling,

telling yourself you’re imagining it. Then your phone lights up.

A notification from your security app. “Motion detected in attic.” You don’t have an

attic… Or so you thought
