My Brother Stole My Girlfriend

It all started with a text I wasn’t supposed to see. My girlfriend had left her phone on

the couch. Curiosity got the best of me. And then I saw it. A message from my

brother: “I can’t stop thinking about you…” I froze. I scrolled through

more messages—secret selfies, inside jokes, plans to meet… everything. I couldn’t breathe.

My heart felt like it was going to explode. I didn’t know if I should confront

her… or my brother first. I decided to wait until the next day. At school,

they were acting normal. Laughing. Sitting next to each other.

And then… my brother winked at me. That’s when I realized: he wasn’t even sorry. I grabbed my backpack,
