Now Turn Around

At 2:17 a.m., Aarav’s phone buzzed. Unknown contact: “Stop looking behind you.”

He froze. He was alone. Door locked. Lights off. He typed,

“Who is this?” The reply came instantly. Unknown contact: “You.” Then another message

appeared. “Front camera is on.” Aarav slowly looked at the mirror.

Something was smiling back. The phone buzzed one last time. “Now turn around.”
