The White Lady of Balete Drive

Filipinos warned me about the white lady, but I laughed it off until I saw

her myself. I was driving through Balete Drive in Manila around 2 AM when my car started

acting weird. The radio switched stations by itself, and the temperature dropped instantly.

Then I saw her in my rearview mirror. A woman in a white dress sitting in my backseat,

her hair covering her face. I froze. She slowly lifted her head,

and I could see through the hair that she had no eyes, just dark hollow

sockets. I slammed the brakes and jumped out of the car. When I looked back

inside, she was gone. But here's the thing that still haunts me.
