Nurse brain: this is what we think first. Patient fell while walking and is sitting

on the curb, alert and stable. First, make sure the area is safe and the

patient isn’t in further danger. Second, check for obvious injuries,

swelling, or deformities. Third, help them stay comfortable and decide if EMS
