The Plastic Problem: A Call to Action

Your gym clothes are literally made out of petrol and coal. It is called synthetic

fiber, and it is basically plastic spun into thread. Science made stuff

like Nylon so strong that a single thread is actually tougher than a steel wire, which is why they

use it for parachutes. But there is a massive catch. Since this stuff is man-made,

nature cannot break it down. That plastic bottle or polyester shirt you throw away stays

there for hundreds of years, choking the planet. We have to stop using single-use

plastic before we turn the whole world into a permanent garbage dump.
