One Email, Total Loss

If you use crypto… this might save you. I woke up to an email from my exchange:

“Security alert — verify your account.” It looked real. The logo. The layout.

The sender address. Everything. So I clicked. Three minutes later… my wallet went to

zero. Ten thousand dollars in Bitcoin—gone. Transferred to an address I’d never

seen. Before I could react, the hacker deleted my recovery email, reset my two-factor

authentication, and locked me out of my own account. Support just said, “We’re sorry… but

the transaction can’t be reversed.” That’s when I realized— one convincing email can wipe your entire

future.
