One More Lonely Night in Hell

It's 2:00 AM and I'm singin' my last song. The dance floor is empty now,

everybody's gone. I tell the bartender to pour me one more shot.

And stagger out the back door, across an empty parking lot. I can still

hear the crowd singing along. Everybody seemed to like the words of

my new song. But they don't see the pain that's hidden in each line.

Or how the whiskey just ain't helping me get you off my mind.

This music life just ain't no life at all. When you take the time to

count up everything you lost. Everybody tells me, "Son, you're doing well."
