Rays of the Black Sun

Born under the black sun's stare. Snake wriggled through the heavy air. Tailed its head

to ceiling height. Swallowed stars to merge the sky.

Seven stars melted into one. I fell, I fell into the river,

undone. In the rays of the black sun I came alive.
