Everything you think about language learning is probably wrong. Your brain has two modes: "learning"
and "acquisition." Learning is consciously memorizing grammar rules in class. It’s slow and makes
you hesitate. Acquisition is subconsciously picking up a language, just like you did as a kid.
This is where real fluency comes from. You acquire a language by understanding messages that are
just a little bit beyond your current level. It's also why it’s okay to have a "silent
period" where you just listen and absorb. If you’re stressed or anxious,
your brain literally blocks new information. So, stop stressing about grammar and start
consuming content you enjoy. Let your brain naturally acquire the language.
