Roblox Games Run on Remote Servers

Warning. Roblox doesn't actually run games on your device. Everything you see

happening in a Roblox game is controlled by a remote server sending commands to your computer.

Your character movements, the physics, even other players are all processed somewhere else entirely.

That's why you can lag out and suddenly teleport backward. Your device is basically just a fancy TV

screen showing you what's happening on a server hundreds of miles away. The game isn't stored

on your computer at all. It's wild because you think you're playing locally,

but you're really just watching a live stream you can interact with. That's also why

exploiters can be so dangerous. They're literally hijacking the connection between your screen
