Rome’s Rise Through Expansion

The Roman Empire was one of the most powerful empires in history, controlling large

parts of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. It grew from a small city into a vast

empire through military conquest and constant expansion, which brought land, wealth,

and resources. The Roman Empire shows that empires will collapse if they do not continue

to expand because expansion provides economic strength, military power, and stability,
