We finally have the real reason Playboi Carti refused to drop Baby Boi this year.

According to credible insider reports, the album was fully scheduled to release right before the

Antagonist tour kicked off. That means we were supposed to be raging to this project

way back in October before he hit the road with the Opium crew. The hold-up wasn't

just Carti trying to be mysterious or following in A$AP Rocky's footsteps of being late.

It turns out serious sample clearance issues completely derailed the launch. This actually makes

sense because legal trouble with samples has plagued his rollouts before. It is frustrating
