Writing a movie script is the complete opposite of writing a novel. A novel lets you
get lost in a character's inner thoughts, but a script is a blueprint for what you can actually
see and hear on screen. It’s all about action lines, dialogue,
and scene headings. You’re not just telling a story; you’re building it,
scene by scene, for a cast and crew. Every word has to be clear, concise,
and creative. It’s the ultimate "show, don't tell." So,
while a screenwriter writes for the screen, a scriptwriter could be writing for anything from a film to a
video game.
