Sibling Religions: Christianity and Islam

Christianity and Islam are basically sibling religions, born from the same roots in the Middle

East. Christianity started in the 1st century with Jesus of Nazareth. His teachings on

love, his death, and the belief he came back to life became the core

of a new faith, spread far and wide by the Apostle Paul. Then, 600 years later

in Arabia, the Prophet Muhammad received revelations that became the Quran,

and Islam was born. His move from Mecca to Medina was so epic, it started their

entire calendar. From these two figures, movements grew that shaped empires, laws,

and billions of lives today.
