Silverpilen: The Ghost Train of Stockholm

Deep beneath Stockholm’s streets, whispers began of a train not supposed to exist.

Locals called it Silverpilen, 'The Silver Arrow'. It was a ghost among the

living trains. Sightings began in the 1960s: a silent, gleaming train speeding

past dark platforms. Some said it stopped at abandoned stations like Kymlinge. 'Only the dead

get off there'. Passengers who boarded told chilling stories: disoriented, flickering lights.

No driver, no passengers. Time felt distorted; minutes stretched into hours.

They stumbled off days later, far away, with no memory. Transit workers denied

its existence, calling it an 'experimental model train'. But the legend grew.
