You've been solving time and work math problems the slow way. Ditch the confusing
fractions. Imagine Person A can do a job in 20 days, and Person B can
do it in 30. How long would it take them if they worked together? Forget doing 1/20
+ 1/30. Instead, find a common number, like 60. Let's say the job
is 60 units of work. Person A does 60 divided by 20, which is 3 units per day.
Person B does 60 divided by 30, which is 2 units per day. Together,
they complete 5 units daily. So, 60 total units divided by 5 units per day
is 12 days. It's that simple.
