Your brain has two separate minds, and they don't always talk to each other. The left and right
hemispheres are connected by a bridge of nerves. When that bridge is cut,
something wild happens. In split-brain patients, if you flash an image to their left visual field,
the info goes to their non-verbal right brain. They will say they saw nothing,
because the language part of their brain never got the message. But here's the twist: if you ask them
to draw what they saw with their left hand, they'll draw the image perfectly.
One side of your brain can know something the other doesn't.
