You are literally made of recycled star explosions. It starts in nebulae, these massive clouds
of dust where gravity pulls gas together until it gets hot enough to fuse atoms. That is a star being
born. If it is a massive one, it eventually blows up in a supernova,
creating black holes and shooting out the heavy elements that make up your blood.
But looking out, we see galaxies rushing away from us because the universe is expanding faster
every second. The scariest part is that all the stars and planets are only five percent
of what exists. The rest is invisible dark energy, and we have no idea how it ends.
