Michael Sweet Explains Stryper Documentary Delay, ‘We Spent All Our Money’

Michael Sweet from Stryper explained that the band’s documentary is delayed because it costs

much more money and time than they expected. Stryper raised a lot of money through

Kickstarter, but Sweet said it was all used to make the documentary high quality instead

of rushing it. The band wants to include many voices, from fans to musicians like Nuno Bettencourt,

to tell the story properly. Because of this, the documentary may not be finished

until late 2026 or early 2027.
