Taking Control of My Happiness

My wife took sex off the table, so I took our marriage off the table. After four years

in a dead bedroom, she told me to go to therapy to stop making her "responsible for my sexual needs."

Then, she proposed we remove sex from our marriage completely, with no guarantee

it would ever come back. I had a realization: she was right. I am responsible

for my own happiness. So I told her, "You're not responsible for my needs, but I owe it to

myself to be in a relationship where they're met. This marriage isn't the right fit anymore."

Now she’s furious and says I blindsided her.
