Technology Enhances Modern Writing Skills

Everyone who says technology is ruining writing is completely wrong. A massive Stanford

study followed students for years and found the exact opposite. Kids today are writing way more than any

generation before them. They’re developing an incredible range of styles,

instinctively knowing how to write a formal essay, a blog post, or a text to a friend.

They see writing as a way to perform and connect with people. The study concluded

that the problem isn't the students' literacy skills. The real challenge is for schools to

catch up with how writing actually works in the world today.
