The Ballerina's Midnight Dance

A girl found a music box in her grandmother's attic. It was covered in dust with a tiny

ballerina frozen inside. When she turned the key, the sweetest melody

filled the room. The ballerina started spinning slowly, her painted smile never changing.

That night, the music box sat on her nightstand. She woke up at midnight to that same melody

playing by itself. The ballerina was spinning, but something was different.

It was facing her bed now. She hadn't moved it. The next morning,

she tried throwing the music box away. But when she got home from school, it was back on her

nightstand. The ballerina had turned again, closer to the edge. Each night,
