Your body is a self-correcting machine, constantly working to keep you from going off the rails.
This process, called homeostasis, is your personal internal manager, keeping everything
perfectly balanced. When you get too hot, your body hits the 'cool down' button
and you sweat. When you're freezing, you shiver to generate warmth. It’s a negative
feedback loop—it always does the opposite to fix the problem. The same thing happens
with sugar. After a sweet snack, your pancreas releases insulin to bring your levels back
down. It’s this constant push and pull that keeps you stable.
