Your body is essentially a twenty-foot long tube wrapped in muscle that turns snacks into survival.
It starts with the digestive system, where your stomach acid melts food into chyme so your
small intestine can steal the nutrients. Then the circulatory system acts as the delivery driver,
with your heart pumping that fuel through arteries and veins while white blood cells
fight off invaders. But none of this works without the respiratory system pulling air into
tiny lung grapes called alveoli. It is actually terrifying how many things have to go right
just for you to sit there and scroll on your phone.
