The Curse of Betrayed Fatherhood

What curse falls on a parent who harms the innocent? Long ago, a man lost himself

to palm wine. In his drunkenness, he betrayed the sacred duty of a father and harmed

his own child. Instead of repenting, he continued in evil. But the ancestors

do not sleep. One night, staggering home, he fell into a deep pit.

For days he cried, but the earth he had disrespected refused to release him.

When the villagers found him, it was too late. His shame was revealed, and they said:

A father must protect, not destroy. Whoever betrays this duty calls a curse upon himself.”
