You are not a solid object, a walking bag of organized fluids. Your body is divided
into VIP sections like your skull and chest, all separated by membranes.
Think of your cell membranes as bouncers. They aren't stiff walls, they are dynamic
fluid mosaics constantly moving and deciding exactly what nutrients get in and what waste gets out.
Then you have tissues teaming up. Epithelial layers cover your skin and organs,
while connective tissue, which actually includes your blood and bones, provides the structure.
It is crazy to realize the only thing stopping you from melting into a puddle is a microscopic network
of fats and proteins.
