Satyendra Nath Bose solved a quantum puzzle that stumped Einstein himself. He figured out how

particles of light actually behave, sending his paper to Einstein in desperation after every journal

rejected it. Einstein was so blown away he translated it personally and got it published.

This breakthrough led to an entire class of particles called bosons, including the famous

Higgs boson. Half of all particles in existence carry his name. But while Einstein

became a household name, Bose remained forgotten outside physics circles,
