Among us walk those we call Guide Keepers. They maintain the public registers — open,

decentralized, a living field guide to the species of the galaxy. They are welcomed

by Archivists, treated almost as devotees, though we never admit it.

They observe, record, and share, yet they do not hold the authority

to alter the Archives. Their work ensures that anyone who journeys among the stars has access

to knowledge, yet it is always filtered through respect, caution,

and care.
