The Haunted House Dare Gone Wrong

You will not believe what happened last week. I still can't even wrap my head around

it. It all started when my friend dared me to sneak into the abandoned house

at the end of our street. Everyone in school says it's haunted, but of course I

said yes. I mean, who wouldn't wanna prove they're brave, right?

I got there around midnight, flashlight in hand, heart literally racing.

The front door was already slightly open, like someone was expecting me.

Weird, but I shrugged it off. The second I stepped inside,

the floorboards creaked like crazy and I swear I heard whispering, not from me or anyone
