Your phone is gaslighting you into thinking it can multitask. It is actually doing only one thing at
a time, but the Operating System switches tasks so fast your brain cannot catch
it. This is called Process Control. Every app you open is a process with
a specific ID card called a PCB that tracks if it is running or waiting for you to tap the
screen. When the system swaps tasks, it performs a context switch,
saving the exact state of one app to load another. It is basically pausing and unpausing
a thousand video games every second just so you can listen to music while you scroll.
