the star of your own show. But Eastern philosophies see the self as an illusion,
deeply connected to everyone and everything. Philosophers like David Hume argued
you’re just a “bundle of perceptions” with no permanent core. Your identity is
shaped by your family, your culture, and even the language you speak. So,
the quest to "find yourself" is really about understanding how you've been built.
