Every star you see is actually a ticking time bomb fighting for its life. It is a constant
war called hydrostatic equilibrium where gravity tries to crush the star inward while nuclear fusion
pushes back out. As long as they burn hydrogen, they stay alive. But for massive
stars, the moment they try to fuse iron, it is game over. Iron drains energy
instead of creating it, causing the core to instantly collapse and explode into
a supernova. You end up with a dense neutron star or a black hole so strong not
even light escapes. The universe is expanding, and we are just watching the aftermath.
