The Miracle of the Loaves and Fish

For three days, a massive crowd followed Jesus through the hills near the Sea of Galilee.

They brought their sick, their lame, their blind — and Jesus healed

them all. But now the people were hungry and faint. Jesus looked over

the multitude with compassion and said, “I do not want to send them away hungry, or they might collapse

on the road.” The disciples looked at the barren landscape and asked, “How can we feed

so many in this desolate place?” Jesus smiled gently. “How many loaves do you have?”

“Seven… and a few small fish.” Jesus instructed the crowd to sit down.
