Your body is running on a secret code, and it's being read millions of times a second inside
every cell. Think of your DNA as the master blueprint, too precious to leave the cell's
nucleus. When your body needs to build something, it makes a temporary copy called RNA.
That's transcription. This RNA message then travels to a molecular factory called a ribosome.
The ribosome reads the RNA in three-letter "words" called codons. Each codon is a command for a specific
building block, an amino acid. The ribosome links these amino acids into a chain,
which folds into a protein. This is translation. From a simple code to complex proteins
that do everything, this tiny molecular dance is literally what keeps you alive.
