Saying no to someone you love? It feels almost impossible. That tiny word comes

loaded with guilt, so I used to say yes to things I didn’t want—just so I wouldn’t disappoint

anyone. I was scared people would think I was selfish for putting myself first.

But here’s what I finally learned: setting boundaries isn’t cruel… it’s healthy.

So I started practicing. Small “no’s” at first, then bigger ones. And honestly?

It changed everything. My time and energy are limited. They’re worth protecting. And yours are too.
