Every time you teach a kid something, you're stopping them from inventing it themselves.
Psychologist Jean Piaget argued that children are like little scientists, actively building
their own understanding of the world. Their thinking isn't just a simpler version of ours; it's completely
different. First, babies think if they can’t see something, it’s gone forever—that’s
why peek-a-boo is mind-blowing. Then, toddlers are totally egocentric,
believing everyone sees the world exactly as they do. Later, kids finally grasp
logic, realizing a tall, skinny glass doesn’t magically hold more juice.
It’s not about memorizing facts; it's about discovery.
