Your mouth is basically a biological musical instrument and you don't even realize it.
Phonetics is the raw science of that noise, tracking how your lungs pump air and
your vocal cords vibrate just to create a sound wave. It is purely about the physical mechanics,
like where your tongue hits your palate. But then there is Phonology,
which is the logic behind the noise. It decides if a sound actually changes the meaning,
like how holding a vowel slightly longer in German completely alters a word.
Phonetics is the hardware, but phonology is the software that makes you understood.
