The Sonic Shift the Cameras Missed

POV: Something weird happened during my graveyard shift at Sonic, and the cameras

never caught it. This was about three years ago. I was working the late shift at Sonic

with my friends Mike, Robbie, and Charlotte. I’m pretty small,

with long blonde hair, and people often mistake me for a girl—this matters

later. It was around 11 p.m., completely dead. No cars.

No orders. Just silence. Our manager went out back to smoke. Robbie and Charlotte

got bored and left for a bit, saying they’d be back before closing. That left just me

and Mike. I glanced at the security monitors and noticed someone standing outside.
